1. You can move a topic with a bookmark inside the map, by dragging it or cutting a topic and pasting it into another place on the map. The topic will remain bookmarked.
2. If you copy the topic, a dialog window will appear, and you can either remove the bookmark from the topic or import it as a new bookmark.
When you move a bookmarked topic into another Map, Navigator treats this bookmark as new bookmark.
A Dialog window will appear, in which you can either remove the bookmark from the topic or import it as a new bookmark.
If you rename or move a map with bookmarks using Windows Explorer, then:
1) all bookmarks that point to that map will become unusable until you open the map in MindManager. Navigator will warn you that it cannot find topic offers to remove the bookmark, if you try to use them;
2) when you open such a map in MindManager, the Navigator will recognize that this is an existing Map and will alter the bookmarks to it to reflect its new path.
If you copy the map with bookmarks via MindManager (Save As command), it treats it as a new Map. In this case, a prompt will appear. You can remove them from the map or import them as new bookmarks.
When you open the map in MindManager, MultiMaps will detect a copy of the existing Map with bookmarks. A dialog window will appear, and you can either remove the bookmarks from a map or import them as new bookmarks.
If the computer does not have MultiMaps installed, you won't use the Bookmarks. If the Multimaps exists on the computer, a dialog window will appear, and you can either remove bookmarks from a map or import them as new bookmarks.
