IconStix
IconStix provides users a quick and convenient way to add icons to map topics.
How it works:
1. Add icons to the IconStix panel.
2. Click on an icon adds it to the selected map topics.
3. You can create multiple IconStix panels to gather icons into meaningful groups.
For example, an IconStix GTD panel could contain all the icons relevant to the GTD time management system. An IconStix Office panel could contain all the icons associated with office processes.
There are several ways to add icons to an IconStix panel:
1. In the Manage Menu , click the New Icon command.
The Omni Icon Library will open, displaying:
Select the icons you need (hold the Ctrl key to select multiple icons) and click OK.
The From File field at the bottom of the window allows users to find and select an icon file in Windows Explorer to add it to a Stix panel and the icon library.
2. Open the MindManager Icon library. Drag icons from onto the Stix panel. You can also open the Image library to add images as icons to the IconStix panel and map topics.
3. Drag the icon file onto the IconStix panel from the Windows File Explorer.
[Icons can be images in any format. However, it is better to limit to the PNG and ICO formats.
Size doesn't matter, but to avoid problems with scaling, ensure that the icon size at least 32x32 px.]
4. Add icons from an Icon Group from the Map Index task pane.
In the Manage Menu , hover your mouse over the Add to Stix from a Group command.
You see the Icon groups (Flags, Arrows, Smileys) extracted from the Map Index task pane.
Click a group to add all icons from this group to the Stix panel.
If the Replace Icons option is checked, existing on the Stix panel icons will be removed, then the new ones will be added.
Right click on an icon to rename or delete the icon.
Arrange icons by moving the icon to a wanted place.
Common for all Stix commands are described in the Stix section.
