Start Menu

When OmniStix is installed, you will notice the OmniStix Start Button at the top of MindManager:

Hover your mouse over this button to open the Start Menu:

Click on the element you want to launch.

OmniSound is a sound Player and Recorder that allows you to record and play voice and system sound. It also offers the ability to attach audio clips to map topics.

Bookmarks help you to navigate to the maps and map topics quickly.

OmniLinks allows you to store and access a database of your documents and web page links.

Quick Topics allows you to create templates with set attributes to create uniform predefined topics related to projects or regular activities. For example, you could create topic templates reflecting your GTD system or topic templates reflecting the unique repeatable processes in an office or manufacturing facility.

Other OmniStix Modules:

Resource Manager: a database management module that allows you to add and delete the project resources associated with your current map or globally available to all your projects.
Map Navigator: map navigation feature.
Search Topics: search map topics by topic text.
Topic Notes: powerful functionality for searching topics with Notes and working with topic notes.

Manage Button

Access to common OmniStix actions and settings:

Hide all stix: hides all visible Stix from the MindManager window while retaining their screen positions.

Show all stix: reveal all hidden Stix visible.

Close all stix: terminates all running Stix and resets their screen position.

Save all stix: creates the default screen positions based on the positions of all visible Stix. Stix will now open to the new default position.

Settings: opens the Settings window to configure some OmniStix default options.

Help: opens this page.

About: opens the About window that displays the current software version and allows users to purchase and enter a License Key, check for updates, report bugs, or contact the developer.

Auto-hide Start Menu: by default, the Start Menu automatically closes after you click on any module. Uncheck this option to keep it open, and click Close to close the Start Menu.

Relocate the Start Button

You can move the Start Button to the left or right on the MindManager Title Bar. To do this, simply drag the Start Menu to the left or right. When you release the Start Menu, the Start Button will move following the Start Menu.

Note: The Start Button will not move if you have unchecked the Auto-hide Start Menu option.
